This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Recruitment Coordinator to join our NSW Team based in Gregory Hills. This role will suit an individual who thrives in a fast-paced blue-collar environment. Working closely with the Operations teams, you will be responsible for recruitment, induction, on-boarding and new starter engagement. This role focuses on the first 6 months of the employee lifecycle ensuring new employees are engaged and adequately skilled to maximise their individual suitability to projects and available works creating the foundation for a sustained casual employee lifecycle.
The successful candidate will be customer focused, possess excellent time management and data entry proficiency skills and be organised and systematic.
Duties
- Facilitate and run face to face recruitment assessments and inductions
- Coordinate recruitment onboarding and new employee journeys
- Manage the first 6 months of employee lifecycle (including check-ins with new starter & team leader feedback)
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of the HR on-boarding systems
- Work with Operations and Safety teams to facilitate upskilling of new entrants in the business
- Proactively engage with key operational departments to understand staffing volumes and requirements
- Build key relationships with local RTOs, job network providers to strengthen candidate pipelines
- First point of contact for NSW recruitment phone queries
- Assist with management of PPE and uniforms
Skills & Experience
- Experience with high volume blue collar recruitment / labour hire
- Self-motivated with the ability to be proactive and solutions driven with tasks
- Solid computer skills including the ability to learn new systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management with a customer service focus
- Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
- Be a results oriented professional
