About Student and Scholarly Services
Student and Scholarly Services (SASS) provides student administration and services from recruitment and point of enquiry to graduation. This team also delivers wellbeing and scholarly services to students and staff.

About the Role
As the Recruitment Manager, you will lead a team of recruitment specialists, and play a key role in student recruitment and conversion activities. You will work closely with the Associate Director, Future Students and Future Students Hub teams on the development of an integrated recruitment and admissions plan and undertake ongoing review and monitoring against the plan.

In a typical week at work, you may:

  • Design and deliver graduate recruitment activities aligned to the Divisional Group’s strategic recruitment targets
  • Contribute to undergraduate activities, especially large University wide recruitment events, as required
  • Work with Associate Director, Future Students to ensure access to, and use of, timely market intelligence and data required for the effective management of recruitment and selection for the Division
  • Provide information and advice gained through in-depth market, discipline and cohort engagement into the broader university graduate market planning process

About You
You will have the ability to lead high performing teams and encourage a collaborative and effective work environment. You'll have high level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.

Ideally, you will further have:

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification with management experience relating to student recruitment, or an equivalent combination of relevant training, education and/or experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and experience in developing and delivering student acquisition plans, aligning organisational strategies and balancing resourcing demands, preferably within a complex environment
  • Previous experience with undertaking student recruitment and/or selection within a tertiary education context
  • Demonstrated commitment and experience in providing a high level of service delivery to students and Divisions alike
