Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Recruitment Officer on a casual basis. Ideally, this role would suit a student keen to gain first business experience in a part-time capacity whilst completing their studies with the aim to grow a career in human resources.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager in managing and continually improving efficient operational and strategic recruitment methodology
- Maintain the applicant tracking system, including researching and approaching passive candidates as well as qualifying applicants
- Preparing and posting job advertisements across different job boards;
- Performing recruitment duties such as scheduling interviews, screening candidates by performing background checks and verifying their qualifications and experience;
- Following up with candidates during the recruitment process, like shortlisting call-backs or rejection emails;
- Assist with a variety of general HR tasks including but not limited to policy development, maintenance of intranet, visa preparation, staff communications, on- or offboarding.
- Tertiary degree or studying towards a degree in commerce, HR or similar

- Keen interest in learning SAP terminology
- Ability to work in a small team in a dynamic environment
- Excellent oral and written English skills
