AddressWe are a busy General Practice located in the Gracemere area. We are looking for enthusiastic and customer service focused individuals to join our dynamic nursing team. Previous experience working in a General Practice environment would be highly considered.
This position is available as Full-time. Immediate start.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to our General Practitioners.
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, some of your responsibilities include:
- Liaising with doctors and healthcare professionals
- Carrying out the requisite treatments and medications
- Checking the stock on a regular basis for maintaining the inventory level
- Preparing rooms, and decontaminating equipment and instruments
- Assisting the Administration team
- Other responsibilities outlined in our Practice Nurse Position Description
Essential Attributes (You must fulfil these criterion)
- Current registration with APHRA
- Ability to be self-organised
- Ability to manage a busy treatment room
- Immunisation Certificate
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificates
- Valid Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
Desired Attributes
- Competency with computers i.e. Microsoft Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in a General Practice setting
- Experience with Medical Software (preferably Medical Director/PracSoft)
Remuneration will be negotiable dependent on the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.
