About The Opportunity
South Western Sydney Local Health District have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic team member to join the SWSLHD Digital Health Service as the Digital Health Redevelopment Program Manager. For this role we are looking for a natural leader that is not only able to manage a diverse and complex portfolio but also has high level of Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
The SWSLHD Digital Health Redevelopment Program Manager will be responsible for delivering the Digital Health Redevelopment program across SWSLHD Hospitals. This critical role will ensure the successful implementation of the Digital Health infrastructure and equipment for all redevelopments within SWSLHD and as such will be liaising extensively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Digital Health Solutions are innovative as well as meet the needs of clinical and corporate staff.
What you'll be doing
The Program Manager is responsible for leading the project team in delivering the project across SWSLHD Hospitals. The Program Manager will lead and manage the project team to implement the project in order maximize work-flows for SWSLHD services. The Program Manager will lead a small to medium sized team and is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the project within the agreed timeframes, budget, quality and resources to deliver the organizations objectives. The specific requirements of this position are to manage a range of project tasks, including project establishment and planning, project scope and readiness assessment and implementation and business as usual processes.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible. * Relevant qualifications in Program Management or equivalent work experience in health with an excellent understanding of health care processes in a large public health organisation

  • Demonstrated high level project management and problem solving skills and related experience with capacity to successfully manage diverse, complex and competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, negotiation, stake holder management and communication skills that support the primary business function of a large organisation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to prepare briefs, formal reports and meeting papers
  • In depth knowledge and practical experience of change management, workforce and business redesign
  • Proficient in project management and computer applications including PRINCE2, Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Extensive experience in supporting delivery of business outcomes, to time and expected levels of quality, including a high level of knowledge of risk and issue management processes
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, experience in staff supervision, and the capacity to contribute to building a team focused on delivering a quality outcome for clinical staff.
  • Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
