Ultimately, Population Health strives to achieve equity of health status and health service utilisation across the population.The RoleThe primary objective of this role is to provide leadership and oversee the development, implementation, and assessment of Health Promotion programs aimed at enhancing the well-being of individuals within the SLHD community. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Health Promotion strategic initiatives, acting as a guiding force in the advancement of Health Promotion practices. They will spearhead evidence-based and innovative Health Promotion endeavours, collaborating seamlessly with internal services, the broader health system, and strategic partners to ensure the seamless integration of programs and initiatives.For more information, please view the .Ideal Candidate
- Has tertiary qualifications in Health Promotion, Public Health, Marketing/Communications, Management, Epidemiology, or other relevant discipline, and/or significant experience in one or more of these disciplines.
- Has leadership skills in the development of Health Promotion programs aligned to strategic priorities as well as demonstrated high-level experience in project planning, implementation, and evaluation of population Health Promotion programs.
- Holds a current NSW Driver’s Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
