The School of Medicine has a deep commitment to the health needs of Greater Western Sydney in education, research and service. Our affiliations with the Local Health Districts highlight a dual aim of attracting current and future medical leaders to the region and in turn improving the provision of health care to the Greater Western Sydney community and beyond. Our staff work across hospitals, Clinical Schools and research institutes at locations across Western Sydney including Liverpool, Campbelltown and Blacktown and across New South Wales at Lismore and Bathurst where our rural program is based and students likewise are found across Western Sydney and across New South Wales.
Blacktown & Mt Druitt Hospitals are at the hub of the Blacktown Clinical School and the hospitals provide an integrated service delivery across the two sites. They form the central cluster in Western Sydney Local Health Network. The Clinical Dean plays a key role in the delivery of the Master of Medicine program by leading the design and delivery of clinical education at the Blacktown Clinical School.
The Clinical Dean will be a senior member of the School of Medicine Executive, and will work closely with the Dean, Deputy Dean, Associate Dean (Academic), Professor of Medical Education and other Clinical Deans in the planning and governance of the Medical program.

Remuneration Package:
Associate Professor, Academic Level D (pro-rata) $66,794 to $73,420 p.a. (comprising salary of $78,831 to $86,582 p.a.; 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading).
Professor, Academic Level E (pro-rata) $85,572 p.a. (comprising salary of $100,801 p.a.; 17% Superannuation, and Leave Loading).
Clinical Loading will be paid where eligible.
The University reserves the right to appoint at Academic Level D (Associate Professor) or Academic Level E (Professor) depending upon the skills, qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
