Role
We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic to join our Cleveland based team who is looking for a quality career within an expanding and dynamic business.
The role involves carrying out refits and new project installation jobs on Super Yachts and Commercial vessel’s of typically Chilled Water HVAC equipment and Custom Refrigeration plants. Subsequent maintenance, servicing and fault diagnosing is also an important function of the role with most work being undertaken on site in a fully equipped company provided work ute.
Other duties may include repairs and installation of A/C and Refrigeration on Caravan and Recreational Vehicles, as part of our workshop duties.
Working week = 38hrs
7:30am to 4:00pm, Mon-Thurs,
7:30am to 1:30pm, Friday
Fully maintained company vehicle including mobile phone, and work shirts are included for this position.
Required Experience and Knowledge
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic or technician
Prior experience and genuine interest in boating and/or caravan industry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must work well under pressure and be able to juggle multiple priorities.
Current C Class Drivers’ Licence
Current ARCTICK Licence
Current Restricted Electrical Licence
Current CPR/LVR training
Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is required.
