This key position contributes to the overall success of the Australia/New Zealand sales area, with the work directly influencing the achievement of sales goals, net working capital targets, and customer satisfaction.We are looking for someone who has a deep and demonstrated understanding of demand planning and inventory management principles and who can build strong relationships with business partners. These attributes, coupled with a strong commercial acumen, will ensure success in the role.Areas of ResponsibilityDevelop accurate demand forecasts for the AU/NZ sales area through the combination of statistical forecasting models and insights gained via partnering with Sales, Operations, Finance and Global Planning stakeholders.Contribute to monthly consensus forecast reviews, aligning demand plans with financial plans and providing insights into variations and exceptions.Lead decision-making processes for demand plans for new products and product supersession.Effectively use Logility forecasting software (Voyager) to ensure end to end supply chain planning integration and high levels of availability whilst maximizing working capital opportunities.Define and maintain inventory and replenishment parameters for stockrooms within the AU/NZ network.Your profile5+ years’ experience in demand planning or supply chain planning in a complex manufacturing environment.Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain/Logistics.Proficiency in SAP S4/HANA Order Management.Prior experience and understanding of IBP/S&OP.Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.Advanced MS Excel capability and extensive experience with forecasting/planning programs.Strong energy/drive and the ability to meet and exceed organisational goals.What we offerFlexible work arrangements, including options for working from home, condensed workweeks, and flexible start/finish times.Competitive salary with a superannuation contribution of 13%.Company Performance Bonus scheme and Length of Service Recognition program.Paid parental leave and ongoing training and development opportunities.Join a dynamic and inclusive team dedicated to driving success and supporting employee growth.Sandvik is proud to be a Work180 Endorsed Employer for Women.
