- Undertake mediation and case coordination with couples, families and individuals using approaches that are appropriate to program requirements.
- Assess, identify and develop interventions that both acknowledge and offer solutions where power imbalance is a serious issue.
- Assess, identify and develop interventions where Family and Domestic Violence are identified.
- Contribute to the planning, provision and evaluation of community education and support in accordance with Centrecare and FRC program requirements.
- Maintain appropriate files, records, data collection and complete other required documentation within Agency policies and procedures.
- Provide parenting and property mediation, and referral services in accordance with alternative Dispute Resolution practice
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team that includes Family Advisors, Counsellors and Child Inclusive Practitioners
- Recognised tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Currently registered as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner
- Experience in providing counselling to individuals, couples and families.
- Knowledge of relationship and parenting issues.
- Experience in Primary Dispute Resolution (mediation)
- Ability to work as part of a team
- A current WA "C" class Driver's License (previously known as "A")
- Computer literacy
- Available to work up to 2 evenings per week
- Current National Police certificate
- Ability to apply for a Working With Children Check
