AddressRegional (PM) Truck Drivers - Derrimut
Dyers Distribution is a family owned company who have been providing quality transport services since 1932. Due to demand we have a number permanent HC driver vacancies for quality operators to distribute grocery products throughout regional Victoria.
Overview of Task:
- Distribution of Retail Grocery and FMCG products
- PM shift across 7 days. Shifts normally scheduled to start between 17:00 and 20:00
- Based at Derrimut
- Ambient and temperature controlled deliveries
- On the job training and assessment
- Quick hitch at DC (the customer loads)
- Dock to Dock deliveries, electric pallet jack at delivery point
- Over award Enterprise Agreement in place
- Phone allowance per shift
- New equipment
- Weekend allowance
- Supportive team culture
Successful applicants must have:
- A current HC with at least 12 months experience
- Refrigeration / Temperature Control experience preferred but not essential
- Proven safe driving record
- A safe work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Chain of Responsibility compliant
- Basic Fatigue Management preferred
- Smart phone
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening.
