About the role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Regional Sales & Marketing Manager (Southern Region VIC/SA/TAS) holds a critical position of leadership, where they will be directly accountable for executing the Southern Region Sales & Marketing Strategy and leading a small team of Sales Representative’s to secure new and existing customers and territories elevating the profits and the wider business.
This role requires a passionate and energetic leader, with proven, demonstrable experience growing and motivating sales experts. You will have a high level of emotional intelligence and be able to build rapport and drive sales opportunities through effective stakeholder management, coaching and constructive mentoring.
You will be motivated by the prospect of growth and expansion as Global Synthetics continues to bolster their market profile through the company’s market leading products.
Skills and Experience
Lead and own all aspects of monthly sales in the territory of VIC, SA + TAS
Execute and exceed the objectives established in the Sales & Marketing Strategy
Forecast sales and report on key sales trends
Ensure profitable margins are always maintained
Contribute to the development of market leading new products
Create and update marketing materials for products
Provide sales advice, prices, contracts, and payments to customers
Negotiate contract terms in conjunction with Legal and the National Manager
Provide effective leadership including mentoring, training and coaching to Sales Representatives
Ensure Sales Representatives are meeting their assigned sales targets and objectives
The successful applicant will have:
Experience working in Sales & Marketing roles in a similar or likeminded organisation
Experience working in the construction/building/manufacturing industry
A Bachelors in Engineering (highly desirable)
Exceptional ability to influence and negotiate
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to persuade and engage stakeholders, management and staff
