Regional Sales Representative- Sa

Seguin Moreau is a leading supplier of oak products for the global wine and liquor industries. With cooperages in France and the USA, Seguin Moreau has also been successfully supplying oak to Australian producers for over 40 years and can be seen in many of the industry's greatest fine wine and spirit barrel halls.

Seguin Moreau's Australian office is currently looking to increase their sales capacity of its national team in response to the future ambitions of the company and the re-invigorated wine industry. This role is based in Adelaide, South Australia and will encompass the management of an existing customer base and uncovering new business opportunities primarily in South Australian regional areas including McLaren Vale, Barossa, the Limestone Coast and Riverland to name a few.  The company provides ongoing technical training and sales support as the expectation of the successful candidate with be to build rapport and support winemakers. 

Reporting to the General Manager, the role will also require you to be responsible for aftersales care, technical recommendations and suitable representation at various trade and wine show events that the company sponsors whilst continuing in your personal development as a sales professional.

Your experience and skills:

• Proven +3 years in a sales role managing customers and developing new relationships.
• A passionate and informed knowledge of the Australian wine industry
• A customer led service style including being an active listening and responsive contact for valued customers.
• A confident negotiator and presenter with a solution focused manner
• Good commercial planning skills and a disciplined organisational style with to ensure effective management of a journey plan and adhering to technical follow-up.

Desired (not essential)

• Demonstrated experience using a CRM/ERP system.
• Working knowledge of the wine, liquor or agribusiness industries
• Knowledge of winemaking and/or distilling either through personal interest or possibly with cellar hand/ vintage experience

The package will include salary/super, a motor vehicle allowance and a weighted annual performance-based bonuses aligned to shared ambitions.
