Registered Aboriginal Health Practitioner - Northern Territory Location

Opportunity for an Aboriginal Health Practitioner to work with a wonderful organisation based in the Northern Territory.

Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a fantastic Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation in the Northern Territory to help them find a Registered Aboriginal Health Practitioner to join their team.

• Monday to Friday role!
• $350 per week for the first three months towards rent + $2000 relocation assistance
• Competitive salary dependent on experience
• Salary sacrifice arrangements are available
• Relocation assistance and short-term accommodation available for eligible applicants
• Generous leave entitlements (6 weeks annual leave, 15 days personal leave, 1 week special leave)
• Requires some travel to local communities to assist educate, prevent and facilitate care

Your main duties
You will work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality clinical services, patient care, health promotion and education. Clinical service may include, but are not limited to...

• Health Screening
• Providing treatment in accordance with CARPA protocols
• Assist clients to make informed decision about their health management
• Contribute to patient care plans
• Administering Immunisations
• Eye Health Care
• Ear Health Care
• Diabetes Health care
• Oral Health Care
• Sexual Health

Requirements for this role

• Current AHPRA registration as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner
• Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care
• Current National Police Certificate within the past 3 months
• Current Northern Territory Driver’s License
• Current Working with Children’s Clearance (OCHRE Card)
