AddressRole Requirements:
- To work within the Operating Theatre Team, providing exceptional care to all patients within the hospital.
- Working with members of the immediate and wider multi-disciplinary team to provide first rate care experience.
- Complying with the clinical governance framework and quality management systems.
- Casual or permanent part time.
- Day shifts between Monday to Friday.
- No night duty.
- Deliver competent assistance throughout the anaesthetic phase in both routine and emergency situations.
- Ensure patient safety throughout the anaesthetic phase, in particular with respect to the nominated position of the patient.
- Participate in the daily maintenance of associated anaesthetic equipment.
- Contribute to the orientation and continuing learning and development of new Anaesthetic Nurses and other Operating Rooms nurses.
Person Specification:
- At least 12 months of clinical experience of working within a theatre hospital environment in Anaesthesia.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Knowledge and understanding of Theatre
- Demonstrated commitment to patient experience
- Strong English communication skills both written and oral
- Strong attention to detail
