Form of workWe are seeking an RN or EEN to join our team at Main Street Medical Centre
We are a well-respected, family GP Medical Practice in Murwillumbah
This is a Casual position offering a minimum of 2 shifts per week negotiable, with the ability to cover annual leave and take on additional shifts as required.
We would look favourably towards Nurses who are highly motivated, previously worked within general practice/primary care with experience/willing to learn Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management.
Skills and Experience
- Current AHPRA registration essential
- Previous experience working within a general practice/ primary care would be desirable
- Experience in Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management advantageous
- Great team member with good communication skills
- Enthusiastic about continued learning and teaching
- Have a passion for nursing and community care
Duties include, but are not limited to
- Clinical patient care; wound management, immunisations and dressings
- Setup and assist for Minor operations and procedures
- Restocking and ordering of clinical and pathology store supplies
- Contribute to the development of our clinical protocols, working towards ongoing accreditation
- Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management
