About the Role
The successful candidate will be joining our 14-bed integrated Maternity Unit, including a level 2 Special Care Nursery.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be joining a team dedicated to delivering a higher standard of support and care for mothers to be and their newborns.
Our multidisciplinary team of experienced obstetricians, midwives, nursing staff, lactation consultants and allied health professional’s work together to ensure a comfortable and confident experience – before, during and after pregnancy.
This is a permanent part-time role, offering a minimum of 45 hours per fortnight.
What You’ll Bring
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a birth suite and maternity unit. SCN experience highly desirable
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster
- Qualification as both midwife and registered nurse highly regarded.
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $34.39 - $ 47.55 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $67,957.76 - $93,965.04]
