The Boodjari YorgasMidwifery Group Practice (BYMGP) is an award winning caseload program run by the Armadale Health Service (AHS) for women who prefer to have midwifery continuity of care that is provided in a culturally safe way throughout their pregnancy journey.
Our program allows women having Aboriginal babies to build a strong, trusting relationship with their known midwife and have optional and additional support from our Aboriginal Health Officer and Grandmother Liaison Officers. The Armadale Health Service is a community focussed model of Maternity care that provides a collaborative and integrative services to address the needs of the women having an Aboriginal baby and their families. Our Midwives can work across a range of services, including Antenatal; Intrapartum/Birthing, Postnatal and community and home services.
We are looking for Registered Midwives who are passionate about making a difference to the lives of the people in our community.
