About the role: The Registered Midwife is required to deliver competent, quality direct midwifery care, within a specific area of expertise and assisting in the achievement of service goals. About you: To be successful in this role you must have current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position. An understanding of the importance of quality, safety and risk in a healthcare environment. Ability to promote evidence-based care/research and quality activities and outcome. Demonstrate high level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally and sensitively with all levels of staff, patients and general public. Demonstrated commitment to participating in professional development activities.
