The Role:
This is a full-time, permanent role primarily based in Cremorne, Melbourne but will require travel to the Mulwala Solar Farm site in NSW on occasion to oversee the environmental site operations.
Ventia is seeking a full time Environmental Advisor who will provide technical environmental expertise and oversee the Environmental compliance and best practices across two of our contracts for the Mulwala Solar Farm site - DJSC and Energy Solutions.
Working with the project SLT and as part of the broader SHEQ team and operational personnel, you will support the contact with regards to all environment matters and delivering on best environmental performance.

Duties include:
- Oversee and hold accountable all sub-contractor environmental planning & sustainability outcomes
- Assist with implementation, monitoring, and continual improvements with regards to the Environmental Management System
- Assist with implementation and monitoring of environmental strategies and action plans to achieve the environmental and sustainability objectives
- Provide support to our operations in managing environmental risks and compliance obligations and environmental approvals
- Conduct environmental monitoring, inspections and auditing as required
- Management of the DJCS Sustainable Land Management Plan
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification in Environmental Science/ Management/ Engineering/Sustainability or similar field
- Previous experience in an Environmental Advisor role or similar
- Exposure and experience working with Heritage sites is desirable
- Valid driver’s licence
