About the role
The Registered Midwife is responsible for the provision of woman centred; evidence- based midwifery care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Midwife will assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will be working in a team of six midwives, the team works between Early Child and Family Health Centres as well as RPA.
The role is a six week flexible roster of 228 hours – a mixture of 8 and 10 hour day shifts, Monday to Sunday.
We are looking for someone who has…
- Current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
