Position:Registered Nurse
Location: Taren Point NSW area
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Provide wound care support in accordance with infection control procedures
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and facilitate seamless transitions throughout the healthcare continuum.
- General support with daily living activities: personal care assistance, community access and domestic assistance
- Support patients and their families with understanding their health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote wellness and prevent complications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records.
Must hold:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- ABN
- Business Insurance
- National Clear Police Check (less than 6 months old)
- Evidence of work rights
- COVID-19 / Influenza vaccinations preferred
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience with wound care supports
- Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
