About the role:Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in the community while enjoying a healthy work-life balance? KinCare has the perfect opportunity for you! As a KinCare community nurse, you'll play a vital role in providing essential care to our elderly customers within the comfort of their own homes.
Based around the Northern Beaches and North Sydney, you will deliver a range of clinical support services, including wound care, medication/injection administration, stoma and bowel care, and catheter management. Additionally, you'll conduct nursing, continence, and dementia screening assessments, while supporting care plans and providing solutions tailored to each customer's individual needs. Working closely with families, General Practitioners, and the KinCare team, you'll ensure a holistic approach to our customers' well-being, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
This is a casual role where you'll work approximately 40 hours per fortnight (between Monday to Friday; ideally between 7am-3pm) and be comfortable driving around the Northern Beaches/North Sydney areas. About you:Full AHPRA registration
First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)Driver’s licence with a reliable and insured vehicle
Genuine interest in working in the community and with the elderly - (experience in Community nursing would be ideal).Ability to work autonomously
Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
