The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our growing and amazing team in our licensed Regional Imaging Cardiovascular Centre (Wagga Wagga).
Our Registered Nurse will provide high quality, accurate and efficient medical imaging nursing services to the business, whilst ensuring an absolute commitment to the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and customers, and achieving quality, cost and productivity targets for the business.
The role also involves admission and discharge as well as scrub and scouting of patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, peripheral vascular and interventional radiological procedures.
This is a permanent full-time role.
Our Ideal Registered Nurse
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum 12 months nursing experience in an acute health care setting.
- Previous Cath Lab, Coronary Care or ICU nursing experience.
- Some knowledge and experience with ACHS accreditation and the National Standards
- A basic understanding of E.C.G's.
- Recent BLS/ALS accreditation
- IV cannulation experience
