Access theAbout the roleThe purpose of this role is to conduct, coordinate and evaluate training and development activities for all Operational Support Services Staff. The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing general Support to the Training Coordinator to develop Operational training programs which include course outlines, objectives, and reference materials.
- Active participation in quality activities to improve performance by providing advice regarding training requirements.
- Providing support to the Training Coordinator in development and maintenance of all training and induction materials including all mandatory and essential training.
- Maintain thorough records of staff training needs, records and reporting documentation required to ensure effective management and maintenance of Operational Services training register and documentation.
- Experience with operational cleaning and porterage duties is desirable but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience to plan, implement and evaluate staff training.
- Ability to prioritise workload to meet competing priorities to ensure departmental goals are met.
- Ability to work autonomously by achieving set outcomes in training and competency assessment and provide detailed reports as required.
- Strong attention to detail and general experience with digital systems to accurately record and maintain records.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills including the ability to negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders.
