Work Health & Safety (WHS) Rehabilitation Coordinator (Temporary)

Are you a dedicated and experienced professional in the field of Work Health and Safety (WHS)? We are actively seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Work Health & Safety (WHS) Rehabilitation Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in establishing, maintaining, and improving our WHS system while fostering a culture of safety across our organisation.
Drive the integration of contemporary WHS practices and a safety-oriented culture into all facets of Council’s operations and business activities. Collaborate with diverse teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Take charge of managing all workers compensation claims lodged with Council, from initiation to conclusion. Your expertise in claims management will ensure efficient and fair resolution processes.
Educate and train management and staff on the principles, practices, and obligations related to safety in the workplace. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing awareness and ensuring that safety is a shared responsibility.

• Temporary full time, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time for a period of 6 months
• Salary range from $83,787.08 - $92,508.00 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
