What you will be doing:
Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilised and ready.
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies.
Maintain aseptic techniques and enforce infection control protocols.
Monitor patient's conditions and provide high-quality perioperative care.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient work flow.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.

What you will need?
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Scrub/Scout Nurse in a perioperative setting.
Demonstrated experience assisting with either major ortho, neuro or cardiothoracic surgeries
Strong understanding of surgical instruments, procedures, and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
