About the Role:
- Supports the Clinical Care Team in delivering the highest quality person-centred care for our clients
- Engages with clients in a friendly and empathetic manner
- Ensures the Aged Care Quality Standards are practiced and achieved
- To assist the Care Manager with the management and completion of AN-ACC assessments
- Ensures safe medication administration, best practice wound care and clinical support for our clients, in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Actively engages in handovers with the Clinical Care Team to ensure continuity of care across shifts.
- To clinically assess and evaluate client care plans to ensure clients choices, care needs, and goals are being delivered
- Maintains quality care documentation
- Works closely with the Care Team and clients’ family members to advocate for clients’ quality of life
- Supervises and supports our Personal Care Workers

Desired Skill & Experience
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care if you have nursing experience in the wider health sector.
- Understanding of the ageing process and a commitment to advocate for clients in residential care.
- Works autonomously as well as a member of the team
- Committed to continuous improvement
- Ability to supervise and direct staff in providing care
- Committed to provide a customer-centric approach
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Police check clearance
- Up-to-date vaccination as required by legislation or industry best practice from time to time.
