Stirling Medical Centre is a well-established and family focused medical centre of 30+ years that aspires to provide the highest quality primary medical care to our patients and local community.
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated & skilled Registered Nurse to join our friendly team on a part time basis with full time opportunity. Days and time can be negotiated.
Essential selection criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Immunisation certified (childhood, influenza, workplace influenza programs and COVID-19)
- Professional indemnity cover
- Ability to triage patients effectively
- Assisting doctors with general patient care including surgical procedure setup
- Assisting with cold chain management and infection control
- Clinical care (wound irrigation and dressing)
- Emergency treatment & care
- Recall and reminders
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly manner
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work both independently with initiative and as a team member
- Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task in a busy environment
Desirable selection criteria
- Experience in Chronic Disease Management Plans
- Experience using Medical Director and software
- Care Plans and health assessments
- Previous experience in General Practice setting
Newly graduates welcome to apply, but must hold current CPD and AHPRA registration.
