Qualifications & experience
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Process and manage solar finance applications, as well as managing invoices to be sent to customers, and monitoring of outstanding balances and payments, and following up with clients and vendors, as required.
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Organize and process payments for staff on a weekly basis. Maintain accurate records of staff payments and deductions.
- Potentially support customers with applications and paperwork as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management.
