About the Role
- Be part of a great and growing team as we increase services for our region!
- DOSA (Day of Surgical Admission) is a busy unit preparing and admitting patients for their procedures and surgery.
- Newly refurbished area providing a private, comfortable space for patients to wait in comfort before surgery.
- Stage three recovery provides the patient with a private space for their final step towards discharge from hospital.
- Medical infusions service is expanding.
Your skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with a desire to work in Day Procedures.
Essential:
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years relevant nursing experience is desirable.
- Prior day surgery experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience with day infusions favorable.
- Post-graduate qualifications or specialities will be highly regarded.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with all hospital personnel
- Excellent understanding of infection control principles
- Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team.
Remuneration
$34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 68,033.68 - $95,500.08]
