Ashford Hospital is a private not-for-profit 230 bed hospital. Ashford Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit.
We are seeking to recruit experienced Registered Nurses for our Cardiac Services/General Surgical Ward. This is a fantastic opportunity for highly motivated candidates with extensive cardiac and/or general surgical skills to join ACHA Health. With 55 dedicated cardiology and cardiothoracic beds, complemented by a 6 bed acute chest pain unit, we are well positioned to provide outstanding care. We offer a rewarding work environment with a group of passionate professional staff supported by Interventional and Non interventional Cardiologists, Cardiothoracic Surgeons and 24 hour onsite medical support, an Emergency Department, 2 state of the art Angiography Labs and a Level 3 Critical Care Unit.
Essential Criteria:
- South Australian DHS
Working with Children Clearance
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Three years' minimum cardiac experience as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards
- Ability to manage risk
- Sound knowledge of Registered Nursing standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong facilitation and coaching skills ACHA Health offers:
