Registered Nurse

Hays Healthcare have partnered with a growing Disability Services and Support organisation who are looking for a Registered Nurse to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to support a number of clients within an SDA environment.

The role:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for all aspects of client directed care, working as the Accommodation Coordinator across multiple SDAs. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing direct client care
• Assisting with further development of the organisations accommodation portfolio
• Sourcing new clients, managing intake and onboarding, matching clients to the most appropriate accommodation service
• General management of Support Workers - supervising, training and mentoring as required
• Identify and develop marketing opportunities for the organisation in a competitive environment
• Act as the primary escalation point for all operational and personnel queries
• Monitor, record and maintain accurate healthcare documentation for all clients
• General administration tasks as required, adhering to correct care regulations and standards
• Effective communication with clients and various stakeholders

To be successful:

• Qualified Registered Nurse with an active AHPRA registration
• Sound knowledge and experience working with the National Disability Insurance Scheme and NDIS participants
• Familiarity with SIL, SDA accommodation and Roster of Care
• IOS and Microsoft 365
• Knowledge of the Quality and Safeguarding principles involved in disability care service delivery and National Disability Standards
• Knowledge of relevant OSH legislation
• Capacity to build business, generating new clients for the organisation, build on existing client relationships
• Current C Class Drivers Licence, NDIS Screening Check, NDIS Modules, WWCC and required vaccinations
