About the Opportunity
Bethsalem Care is actively seeking passionate and committed Registered Nurses who will be a key member of the team that delivers high quality, safe and individualised care which supports resident’s well-being, whilst assisting them to maintain their best life possible.
The position is salaried in line with the appropriate Aged Care Award structure for a Registered Nurse Level 1, according to levels of experience and hours worked. The salary band for a full-time day shift employee is - $74,476 to $92,100
Your responsibilities Include:
Delivering resident-focused and exceptional quality clinical care that optimises resident health and well-being.
Leading a team of committed nursing and care staff.
Identifying and responding to the changing care needs of residents.
Ensuring that documentation accurately reflects care delivery that supports funding requirements.
Developing, implementing, reviewing and updating resident care plans, in consultation with residents, families and other members of the care team.
Taking responsibility for medication management that is safe and compliant with best-practice and all relevant obligations.
About You
You have a passion for caring for people who are navigating the ageing process and you are genuinely committed to a fulfilling career in aged care nursing.
You have:
Current, unrestricted Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
NDIS clearance
Completed the National Hand Hygiene Initiative (NHHI) training
Leadership capabilities
An understanding of (or commitment to learn) the Aged Care Standards.
A willingness to understand the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC).
Well-developed computer skills.
Robust organisation and time management skills
The ability to multi-task in a busy and fulfilling environment.
