We are seeking Registered Nurses to provide leadership and supervision to our dedicated Care Workers. You will be responsible for leading our team in the delivery of person-centred care, providing guidance and acting as a point of escalation for issues. With effective interpersonal skills and the ability to keep calm in high-pressure situations, you will provide quality individualised nursing care.
We are looking for a reliable and passionate Registered Nurse who is happy to work a mixture of AM and PM shifts on a set fortnightly roster.
What can you expect to be doing?- Provide quality nursing care to our residents through assessment and care planning, ensuring care needs of our residents are met at the highest standard
- Act as a role model to other staff, providing coaching and mentoring where required
- Provide a service that meets the needs our residents and enhances their quality of life
- Assist to coordinate and maintain a quality system and strive for continuous improvement
- Maintain a strong resident focus and an empathetic and compassionate approach with residents and families
- Lead from the front and delegate tasks appropriately amongst staff
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing or equivalent and current registration with AHPRA
- Ability to lead your colleagues, and build effective relationships with residents, and their families
- Proficiency in clinical documentation in line with nursing competency standards
- National Police Clearance (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people)
