Ashford Hospital are seeking to recruit experienced Emergency Registered Nurses into the busy Emergency Department, in a permanent full time capacity. As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Working cohesively and with initiative in a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to make timely and accurate decisions in critical medical scenarios
- Liaising with management, key stakeholders and all Emergency staff
- Supporting management and embracing change and new initiatives positively
- Displaying clinical expertise and service excellence in a private healthcare emergency setting
- Provide patient care in accordance with National Safety Quality Standards and ACHA policies Ashford Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery.
Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an Emergency department, maternity services and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit. Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- South Australian DHS
Working With Children Clearance
- Background in Emergency Nursing (minimum 3 years)
- Must work across all shifts
- early and late shifts over a 7-day rotating roster (Nursing hours include a number of different shifts between the hours of 0730-2400)
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Excellent clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Works well independently and within a team
