Where you'll be working:
Muswellbrook Hospital, part of the Hunter Valley Sector within the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD), offers an exceptional environment for nurses to expand their careers and enhance their skills and knowledge. As a member of our team, you will provide essential public health services to the people of the Upper Hunter, working in our well-equipped facilities. Our dialysis unit, a satellite unit with six chairs, operates on a Monday-Saturday day shift roster, offering dedicated care to patients in need of dialysis. Additionally, our Infusion Unit, with its four chairs, is open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, providing vital treatments to our community.
At Muswellbrook Hospital, there is ample opportunity for you to diversify your experience and work in other areas of the hospital, depending on your previous background and interests. With access to a medical officer 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, you will be supported in delivering high-quality care at all times. - To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
