About you:
- Minimum two years of experience in the hospitality industry preferably in a supervisory role
- Fast paced, energetic & bubbly personality
- Experience with POS systems, money handling - taking payments, cashing off orders & end of day balancing
- Experience in a high-volume establishment
- Ability to keep front of house areas clean, tidy and presentable at all times
- Work well under pressure & foster positive relationships with staff and management
- Be reliable and punctual at all times
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with a sound telephone manner and professional conduct
- Demonstrate good presentation and attention to detail
- Experience in functions and events is advantageous
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the demands of the business.
- Complaints handling procedures
- Adhering to company policies, procedures & grooming standards
- Communicating with kitchen staff to advise of low stock in front of house areas
- Participate in weekly meetings and managing all front-of-house activities to achieve KPI targets
- Coordinate promotional efforts with restaurant manager and marketing team to effectively promote specials and drive sales
- Provide comprehensive training to new hires and ongoing training to existing staff
- Building relationships with customers
- Managing tables & reservations via online booking systems
- Taking orders, running food, clearing tables
