• Multiple Permanent Part-Time positions working over a 7 day roster (various part time hours available)

OverviewJoining the Nursing team a Strathalbyn & District Health Service, you will assist with the provision of professional high quality nursing aimed at improving patient health outcomes. Assessing individual patients' needs, you will plan, implement and coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options. You will also provide health education, counselling and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups. This role presents a great opportunity to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, with free car parking on site and access to attractive salary sacrificing options. Strathalbyn & District Health Service provides acute services ranging from in-hospital care for adults and children by local general practitioners to specialist surgical, outpatients and aged care beds. Strathalbyn and District Health Service incorporates a public hospital, residential aged care and a day care centre to meet the needs of a growing community.You will need to be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will have effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
