A leader at Golden Grove Residential Care Home, as a Registered Nurse you will deliver direct and comprehensive care to our residents, while supporting Enrolled Nurses and Residential Care Workers on shift.
You’ll also make an impact by:
- Ensuring assigned resident care is performed in accordance with care standards and Helping Hand philosophy, policies and procedures.
- Developing effective working relationships by working positively within a team to achieve team goals in delivery of responsive resident care.
- Using and applying relevant procedures and reporting documentation systems.
- Practicing in accordance with all relevant legislation and clinical/professional standards/guidelines
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor of Nursing qualification
- A current AHPRA registration
- Ability to work as a team member and to direct and develop staff including the provision of leadership
- Minimum of 6-12 months of work experience (experience in aged care is highly regarded)
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
- Understanding of contemporary issues and practices relating to aged care.
- Knowledge and experience of documentation and continuous improvement requirements in aged care
- Post Graduate degree in Gerontics or related field
