Are you a Registered Nurse seeking to develop broad clinical skills and knowledge in Paediatrics that can be applied to a variety of clinical situations?
We are looking for dynamic, energetic and vibrant staff for our Cardiac/Renal/Surgical Infant Unit at Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick. We have permanent and temporary full-time positions available.
Suitable applicants will be enrolled into the Transition to Paediatric Nursing (TPN) Program which equips you with the knowledge to care for paediatric patients. You will care for patients with a wide range of conditions and diagnosis.
As you progress through the program, you will develop skills to care for high acuity patients and start to develop leadership skills. You will belong to a team of friendly and welcoming staff who all have a desire and passion to support RNs new to Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick and Paediatrics
Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Recent clinical experience as a registered nurse in a hospital setting.
Effective time management skills
Computer literacy.
Capacity to work a seven (7) day rotating roster including public holidays and reasonable overtime

ASARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) 3 doses are highly recommended for all other health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
Please note: To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
