Key responsibilities
- Assisting in the coordination and supervision of staff and participants within the clinical unit
- Ensuring procedures and guidelines are conducted to industry standards
- Administering Investigational Products, prescription and medications
- Providing general nursing care, monitoring patient’s well-being and taking appropriate action when necessary
- Conducting procedures such as vital signs, ECG’s, blood collection, blood processing and data collection
- When required, acting as the nurse in charge and working within a higher scope of practice
Requirements
- Registered Division 1 Nurse with AHPRA (no restrictions)
- 2 years minimum post graduate experience in an acute care setting
- Enthusiastic, driven, positive and highly motivated
- Must have excellent time management skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and effectively in a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with participants and other health care professionals
- Maintain a professional level of confidentiality
- Availability to commit to morning, afternoon and night shifts across a rotating 7-day roster
