AddressOur client is a long established, highly reputable Community Care organisation, servicing clients across NSW. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join their Goulburn team in the position of Registered Nurse.
The Role
Your role will focus on conducting initial and ongoing client assessments within their homes, and delivering strategies, guidance and support to enhance their mobility, independence and wellbeing. This will include:
- Provision of high-quality nursing care and support to aged care clients
- Undertaking comprehensive assessments of clients in collaboration with the client and their family or carer
- Determining health and wellbeing maintenance and promotion strategies aimed at encouraging independence and assisting the client to maintain a quality of life
- Coordinating the safe delivery of quality holistic care to the client and monitoring client progress
- Engaging with allied health professionals and community supports to enhance client care delivery
- Developing associated documentation and reporting, as required
In order to succeed in this role, you will require the following:
- 2+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse, including experience in caring for aged persons
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs and issues of older people and their carers
- Demonstrated experience in needs assessment and management of older people
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid National Police Check
- Valid NSW Driver's Licence and own vehicle
