About You
  • You have a current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • You have an unrestricted Australian Drivers licence
  • You have recent clinical experience in BPSD and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team and have a focus on developing key relationships in a multi-disciplinary team.
What you'll be doing
The position of Registered Nurse for the Dementia & Behaviour Support Services exists within the Directorate of Community, Chronic and Complex Care. The Dementia & Behaviour Support Services (DABBS) focus is to assist patients/clients and Carers with concerns and issues related to cognitive impairment /Dementia.
The primary role of this position is to assist with the management of patients with Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD) in Central Coast hospitals and facilitate a smooth transition on discharge between hospital and the community. The community is inclusive of Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF).
