The contract: Ongoing, Part Time, 64.0 hours per fortnight – split of hours will be considered
The position:
The BRHS dialysis is a satellite unit of Austin Health; it is serviced by two visiting Nephrologists and provides support for home dialysis patients in the region (peritoneal and haemodialysis). Working in our department you will enjoy a modern and friendly environment, and you will be exposed to a mixture of chronic and acute care treatments that will rapidly expand your skills. You will use evidence based practice to provide the full spectrum of care to ensure haemodialysis treatments occur according to each patients care plan. You will feel challenged and rewarded at all times!

What you need:
• Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse.
• Recent acute or Haemodialysis experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the management of renal nursing patients.
• A good understanding of the needs of people with chronic disease, both for the individual and those that care for the person.
• Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the provision of patient centered care.
