A Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C) continues to be predominantly clinical in nature; however, employees are assigned appropriate portfolios. The allocation of portfolio responsibilities should be negotiated with each employee and be consistent with the career development plan for the employee as determined by their performance review/development plan.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with at least 3 years or more, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced Registered Nurses essential.
Please note that this position is multi-classed as either a RN/M1 or RN/M2C and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience. Actual hours worked per fortnight are to be negotiated and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. In addition to the annual salary package, we also offer salary sacrifice benefits, employer superannuation contributions and leave loading.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
