The Role
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you will be working alongside the broader imaging team and will provide best practice in patient-centered care.
As a Registered Nurse at EMI, you will have the opportunity to participate in the full spectrum of imaging procedures and rotate through our various modalities, this includes Interventional Ultrasound, Angiography, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computerized Tomography, Nuclear Medicine and Procedural Bookings with potential future opportunities to learn other specialties.
To be successful in this role you will…
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification
- Have current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Have an interest in acute, complex patient-centered care
- Have demonstrated excellent communication
- Be passionate about providing excellent care to patients
- Experience in Medical Imaging nursing, Radiology, Catheter Laboratory or Operating Theatres (desirable but not essential).

Epworth Medical Imaging (EMI) is part of the Sonic Healthcare network, providing high quality imaging services to both Epworth Hospital locations and the wider community.
EMI employ approximately 250 highly skilled Radiologists and staff, providing Angiography, Intervention, Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD), Computed Tomography, Dental X-Ray (OPG), General X-Ray, MRI, 3D and Contrast Mammography, Nuclear Medicine and PET and Ultrasound.
