The role
We are offering a permanent part-time opportunity for who are passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join either of our two facilities based in Maryborough, QLD - PresCare Yaralla Place has 96 beds and PresCare Groundwater Lodge has 60 beds. You must be dedicated to working and understanding the residential aged care environment and standards. We have a range of shifts available and a culture of high-level empathy and compassion for our residents.
What you will do
The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring:
- Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives
- Development and evaluation of individualized resident care plans
- Supervise and support Personal Care Workers
- Clinical care including wound management, palliative care and medication management
- Liaison with medical and allied health care staff
- Provision of safe, high quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Positive resident experience through resident-first approach
Who are you and what will you bring?
- Registration with the AHPRA as a Div. 1 Registered is MANDATORY
- Valid and full working rights in Australia - MANDATORY
- Minimum 2 years experience in providing clinical care within aged care
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hold and maintain a current and valid NDIS Worker Check as per NDIS Act 2013 (or willing to obtain) - MANDATORY
- Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
