About the role
Permanent full time and part time opportunity to to provide contemporary evidence based consumer/patient focused care, in collaboration with the interprofessional health care team to facilitate optimal health outcomes for the recipients of healthcare services and undertake delegated activities while assuming individual accountability for actions within the position and context of practice.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Apply clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.
- Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
- Consult with others in delegation activities, and contribution to effective clinical care outcomes and the maintenance of a safe of environment.
- Develop in partnership with women individualised care plans for antenatal, postnatal and intrapartum care and may extend to women's health, sexual or reproductive health, preparation for parenthood and childcare.
- Maintain woman and baby safety, risk minimisation and safe work activities within the practice setting.
