About the Opportunity:

As a Registered Nurse, you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Services Hawthorn.

St Vincent's Care Services Hawthorn (locally known as Mary Mackillop Aged Care) is a 91-bed facility located in Hawthorn East, just 7km from Melbourne's city centre with the added convenience of Camberwell Junction right around the corner.

We are looking for an experienced In ChargeRegistered Nurse (Grade 5) to work across Night Shift (currently 2 shifts per week)

Things that work for us:

  • Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential
  • Ability to work on a part time basis
  • Clinical nursing practice experience in an aged care/health care setting
  • Flexibility to be able to work across morning, afternoon and night shifts
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow directives as per care plan
  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
  • Vaccinated (and up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19
  • National Police Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
